Paris still

What a busy day I had yesterday. I'm going to stick to my Paris theme for this blog post. I haven't had time to think of anything else.

Above is a wider view of the photo I published yesterday.

And here is the one I was thinking of that shows both the Eiffel Tower and the Tour Montparnasse in the same frame. It's busy here, as you might imagine. I'll try to keep blogging but it's hard to find the time and the inspiration right now.

  1. So the Tour was quite far away...The cropping made it interesting and dramatic.

  2. Thank you for blogging for us today - but I for one, feel that just now your first duty is to your family and to yourself. Take the time for your own wellbeing and to your mothers departure to make that your priority - we will all be here when you are ready.

    1. I second that. I couldn't say it any better.

    2. And I third that.
Thanks for this photo -- amazing how you can zoom in with a camera.

    3. I'm getting up at 5:00 a.m. each morning (jet lag) and I'm staying alone in my mother's apartment. Blogging gives me something to do in the early morning hours other than watching CNN or MSNBC. Trump's Washington is entertaining, but it's better not to overdose.

  3. You must be feeling very alone in the early morning hours. The Paris air shots are a treat for us. You are getting condolences from many people in far away places and they all liked your MA and want you to know that they are thinking about you at this time. I am one of those people, but I am lucky to have met you both.

  4. PS Our tv news shows will not make you calm or happy. I'm just getting my news via online newspapers these days.

  5. I just read that the Eiffel Tower is closed to the public due to heavy snowfall.

  6. Just hang in there, day by day, and you'll get through what has to be done. The American way of death requires an enormous amount of paperwork and mindless stuff, as well as the seemingly more sensible things. We're with you, whether you decide to post or to take a few days off.
